The Secret Expert Review by Brian Garvin and Jeff West

By Brian and Jeff On April 2, 2009 Under Other-Reviews

If you are looking for a way to turn your life around when it comes to making the money you need or getting into the industry that you love, there is a good chance that you have heard of the The Secret. The Secret started as a book written by Rhonda Byrne and it teaches people, no matter what their goals or what their ambition is, the mode of thought or action that is necessary to get there.

While some dismiss it as another vehicle for positive thinking, other people have stated that the methods and processes found in The Secret have changed their lives. You may be wondering what this book can do for you and whether you should invest in the DVD.

On the one hand, The Secret does promote positive thinking and optimism. Both of these are invaluable tools for anyone who is undertaking something difficult, and they can definitely keep you going when times are tough. However, it is important to note that action must be taken too. One of the implications of The Secret is that the universe will mold itself to your own positive thoughts and is waiting to provide you with your dreams. This is an assumption that is often called into question when this DVD is discussed.

Many critics have also stated that The Secret is mostly geared towards people who already have an impressive amount of autonomy, and have the capability of realizing their dreams and their wishes. Critics state that the true message of The Secret is that people who suffer somehow must deserve to suffer because they simply don’t want to get better or improve their circumstances enough. Not only is this a arrogant statement regarding those who might not be in good positions to better themselves, it is also insulting in the extreme to people who find themselves in difficult situations.

Whether or not you’ll find The Secret useful is a personal thing. If you are receptive to the spiritual aspect of the program, the investment of thirty dollars for a DVD is a small one. This can be a small price to pay for changing your life, but remember that you do need to be receptive to it. There is a good chance that if you are a cynic or a skeptic, you’ll simply stay one! If you are feeling a little more cautious, however, it might be best to let this one go.
