Tastefully Simple is a direct sales company that is based in Alexandria, Minnesota. They are a network marketing company that offers wide selections of gourmet foods that are convenient and easy to prepare. Sounds like something that everyone needs these days of hustle and bustle, mom and dad both working and no one to prepare a nice healthy meal.

Tastefully Simple has everything from yummy appetizers to the most delicious desserts. They have a catalog that provides over 30 gourmet foods and some great gifts for any occasion. Some of their products can be eaten right out of the package or they can be prepared at home with a couple of added ingredients to produce a fantastic gourmet meal. This means that you are able to place on your table a beautiful meal every night of the week.

Tastefully Simple has some great soups such as black bean, cheesy pepper, cheesy potato, chips, creamy wild rice soup, and bountiful beer bread mix. These are just a few examples of what they have on their menu.

The products are sold by independent Tastefully Simple consultants. They will come into your home for a taste-testing party. They are proud to be members of the Direct Selling Association. This association maintains high standards of practice for all direct sales marketing companies all across the US. They also belong to the Better Business Bureau, which is something to always look for when checking into any multi-level marketing company.

You can be a host of your own party by inviting some friends over, letting them know they will sample some delicious gourmet food. I am sure you have any problems getting them all there; no one likes to miss a great meal. You will earn exclusive serving ware from their Host Collection, and you will also receive $10 in gourmet foods for every $100 in sales.

If you have a party and decide that you would like to do it as a business, which will be easy to do as well. You will be able to custom build your business as big or small as you would like. As a consultant you will earn up to 36% commission on your retail sales. You will be providing consumable products with the additional income you receive from your reorders. You will also be able to receive leadership income when you have a qualified team that you have personally built. And, last but not least, you will be able to earn vacations and receive recognition for your accomplishments.

To become a consultant with Tastefully Simple, everything you need is provided in your starter kit, which is a cost of $170. This provides you the supplies you need to display and sample products, your training materials, catalogs, invitations, order forms and any other supplies that are needed.

But to do Tastefully Simple, you need to love being in the kitchen. While this does sound like a fun opportunity, it would not be something that I would choose. I have a hard enough time cooking for my own family, I don’t think I would want to go and cook for everyone else. It will take some preparation to have all of your samples made and ready to go.

But knowing that Tastefully Simple is a great company, knowing the costs up front and what is required as far as your time and effort goes, it may be exactly what you are looking for. If not, you will find it as you continue your search for way to work at home. There really are some great opportunities out there that have a better success rate than the multi-level market.
