A Review of the ScriptVesting Network Marketing Opportunity

ScriptVesting is a new company designed to help authors of feature film length scripts or screenplays get their work noticed. Traditional agents have the luxury of picking and choosing the scripts they want to, but usually they pick people and not scripts themselves. They refer to this as the entertainment clique. ScriptVesting’s goal is to crush the clique so to speak.

The heart and soul of the way ScriptVesting works will be through their unique
distribution network. A forced 5×6 matrix, but unique in its deployment. Each level of the matrix has a responsibility associated with that position, whether it is the top level which they call the Marketing Executive, or the 2nd level which is the Group Leader, or the 4th level which they call the Team Leader.

Also, they have staggered the wholesale purchase rate at each level. For example, the top level will be the level that benefits the most from
commissions, therefore they have the highest wholesale cost to pay,
approximately a 10% discount from retail. The 6th level which is referred to as the Affiliate Marketer gets a 50% discount on the items. This level does not get people below them or earn commissions, but is a direct sales position.

The best part is that anyone in the upper levels can also buy in to a ScriptVesting slot on the 6th level. This is important for two reasons. One, everyone will be able to retail at the lower wholesale cost while maintaining a slot that earns commissions, and second because everyone will retail at this level everyone else in the up-line is going to benefit from it. This seems to go with their goal of trying to ensure that everyone makes money.

There is more good news coming from this company though. It is the social networking environment that they are creating. We mentioned earlier that they help authors with their scripts. Well, the way this works is they take in the scripts and publish a limited edition of 5000 copies. This then becomes the product they sell. The buyers can then register for free on their site and through various communication channels work together to improve the script.

This can be done online or at a home party or regional conference center, it doesn’t matter. Once everyone is happy with the script then they decide what to do next with it. They can create a novel from the main idea, a movie, or just about anything else. They use the money that was received from the script purchases to do these other activities. Then comes the even better part, they pay out 80% of
the net royalties back to the members.
