Passport to Wealth Expert Review by Brian Garvin and Jeff West

By Brian and Jeff On April 1, 2009 Under MLM-Programs-P

Lets take a look at a fairly new company that is geared in the home business area. Passport to Wealth is an opportunity to sell or market their products through direct marketing.

Passport to Wealth has a product line of software titles that are based on Internet Marketing. These programs cost $997. There are several different titles of software that you can choose from. What they say you will get for your $997 is $75,000 worth of products that you will own and have the resale right to. What a great concept? That would be awesome if you could purchase that much product for a measly $1000.

But you want to find out what kind will be able to sell? Are they generic products that you can download on shareware sights? How old are these products, are they keeping up with the technology today? No matter how good the product is, if it is not relevant to the market today, it will not do you any good to try to sell it. Unless you have a very good sales copy and know how to advertise online to get it out there.

Their Passport to Wealth marketing plan is the famous “aussie 2-up”. The way this works is you pay your sign up fee and get your product for $997. Now, you work and struggle to make your first sale in Passport to Wealth. Yay, you did it. You just got a check for a $1000, but wait, you don’t get to keep it. You have to give it to your sponsor, the person that signed you up in the Passport to Wealth. Well, that’s ok, because you have another sale ready to happen, (you know, the first 2 sales in network marketing are always the hardest.) Ok, next sale done and you have your money, now you can claim even. Nope, not yet, you have to give that check to your sponsor as well. Now you know why it is called a 2-UP plan.

Time to get back to work, and now you will be able to keep your money. But better yet, is now that you have your third sale, your new recruit will have to give YOU their first $2,000. And that is how it all works. 2-UP, then 2-down, however way you want to look at it. Once you get your 2-down, you win and can keep making money. But I do need to mention, once you pay your 2-Up, your sponsor is now your competition and no longer your support system. The same will go with those you recruit. Just a bit of info for you to chew on.

But all in all, Passport to Wealth does have some great software in their product line. If you are great at Internet Marketing already, and know how you can market these products, and don’t mind a bit of competition, then go for it. If not, then you may want to find something a bit more traditional.

Keep your eyes open and please do your research. Know the product and their compensation plan inside and out before you go into any MLM venture. You will be able to find something that you can be happy doing and make money at the same time.
