Maxxis 2000 Expert Review by Brian Garvin and Jeff West

By Brian and Jeff On April 1, 2009 Under MLM-Programs-M

There is very little known about the Maxxis 2000 Income Opportunity and this might be because the company has been in bankruptcy since the year 2003. There are still a few sites available that tell people about how the company got started, but from what we can tell, the income opportunity is gone, so beware of anybody trying to sign you up as a Maxxis 2000 company rep because it is most likely a scam.

The company, when it existed cost between one hundred and twenty dollars and four hundred dollars to join, depending on the level at which you wanted to start. The one hundred and twenty dollars paid for a basic commission based salesperson position in which a person could earn a ten percent commission off of everything they sold and in this case they were selling internet connections and long distance savings plans. They also had the choice to sell beauty products, though the marketing materials made it clear that the real money was in the phone and internet services being sold.

To get started you had to find a representative and contact them directly. We searched through pages of Google Results and could not find any information on whether or not the start up fee came with any materials or how quickly it could be recovered in commissions and sales. We also could not find any information on how often the representatives of Maxxis 2000 were paid and how the company preferred to pay its sales reps.

Obviously Maxxis 2000 was a multi level marketing company, putting a huge emphasis on creating a down line—after all, once you had created your down line, you could sit back and collect commissions off of all of the work that they did.

Remember, the most recent information we can find says that the Maxxis 2000 Company has been in bankruptcy since the year 2003. There are still a few websites up promising huge earnings through this company, but the sites we found were all listed on free website servers so it is highly likely that this information is exceedingly old and no longer valid.

When signing up for any sort of multi level marketing opportunity make sure that you find out the following information: how much does it cost to get started, what kind of earnings are possible, how is the down line structured and how and how often is payment processed? If a company will not tell you this information up front, then you should move on to something more legitimate. It is also a good idea, particularly if you are starting out in the multi level marketing field, to start with physical products—products that you can show to people. Home parties are a great way to get started and hone your skills.

Remember, Maxxis 2000 is no longer in operation, so do not waste your time trying to contact a representative and definitely do not send anybody money for this company. It is better to move on to something legitimate.
