There is a never ending list of vitamin and weight-loss suppliers on the market today. Most can be purchased at your local drug store or GNC at the mall. Some super markets even carry vitamins. One line they don’t have: the vitamins and weight loss products offered via direct sale through Liberty Health Net. Incorporated in 2001, Liberty Health Net was founded by Jim Price, a man looking for an easy and realistic way for everyday people to make money and find financial success. Now six years old, the company is conducting sales in fifty countries worldwide. No other additional information is available on the company itself. The company’s product line includes vitamins, weight-loss pills, tea, and skin care products. Each product available includes an in-depth description of the product itself, and the benefits it offers. If applicable, a product label is also presented for viewing by the potential customer and distributor. The product pages also include suggested usage guidelines, and additional notes as well as customer testimonials. Product prices are not found with each product. Instead, potential users must go to the ‘Marketing’ page and click on the ‘Catalogues, Brochures, and Flyers’ link where a new page will be launched that lists the various catalogues. Unfortunately, the links to the .PDFs do not seem to work. According to Liberty Health Net's website, there are three ways a distributor can make money reselling the product. The first way is to purchase one item monthly to use yourself or to resale to someone else. When you refer others to the company and they purchase a product, you receive a commission on their sales. The more people you refer, the more money you make. The second way is the retail plan. When you purchase a hundred dollars or more worth of product, you can buy additional product to sell for $10.00 to $20.00. This discounted product you can resell for the list price and keep the profit. The third way is for established distributors. For every new distributor they sponsor, they receive a commission. According to the website it only cost $30.00 to get started but what is included in that fee is not stated. Liberty Health Net offers distributors four levels of qualifications which outline how much personal sales and number of sponsors beneath them it takes to qualify for each. The site also claims that commission checks are mailed out on a timely basis on the twelfth of each month. Other services include sample business presentations, business card templates, introduction letters, and free websites for the distributors back office. The website service has not been initiated by the company yet. The Liberty Health Net website includes information on product returns, extensive distributor terms and conditions as well as a no-spam, no faxing policy. The products look to be of equal value compared to commercial products that can be purchased at the local drug store. The biggest downfall of the website is that there is no way to access the catalog and get a good handle on how much each product costs. This is a stumbling block for anyone interested in possibly using the items to help them determine whether or not Liberty Health Net is a good fit in their lives and can help them build a lucrative business.  |
