What would it take to rank on just about any Keyword we wanted without any plateaus or constraints? Without it taking many months or years? Here is Exactly what it takes:

Getting your Anchor Text Link on lots of different Blog Pages that already have Page Rank.

Making sure that each of these pages has it’s own Unique IP Address. Lots of blog posts on the same blog won’t cut it, even if all the pages have good page rank.

Having access to as much of this Page Rank as you want.

The bottom line is, if you can meet all the criteria above, not only can you rank on any keyword you want (assuming your site is optimized on-site for your targeted keyword phrase) Google will have no choice but to push your page higher and higher up the SERPS above all your competitors.

The key to doing this is to get your Anchor Text Link for your Targeted Keyword Phrase on as many High Page Rank Blogs as possible. In many cases your website might be listed 34 in the SERP’s for a particular keyword. You might just sit back and think that getting these top rankings are only for “the SEO experts” or “those other guys”, so you give up on this keyword and try to find something else. There is nothing further from the truth here. I know because this is what I use to think.

Yes you can get traffic for Long-Tail Keywords but it will take hundreds of them to even start to get you decent traffic nowadays. If you want to shorten this SEO process, the best thing you can do is to ride the brand recognition on companies or rank on Keywords that get hundreds or more searches per day. Then you have a chance to make some decent money.
