A Review of the iJango Network Marketing Opportunity
When I did a whois search on the iJango domain it showed me that this domain was registered from Austin, TX. but it didn’t show us the month or year this domain was registered, just the date so I have no way of telling exactly when it was registered.
When I started watching the movie on the iJango website, they claim that you can build instant cash while concurrently building long-term residual income. The rest of this video just seems too commercial and hyped up and only gave general Internet Marketing statistics like over 300 Billion Dollars per year was spent online, how much of this did you earn?
This company claims that they launched in the summer of 2009 and that they have exploded since they launched. The chairman of iJango is Stephen Smith. He claims to come from a Network Marketing Telecommunications background and was behind the marketing strategy for Excel Communications that grew to be a billion dollar company that paid out 9 digits to it’s MLM Distributors.
Rayner Smith is the CEO of iJango now. Rayner Smith had a family that struggled financially when he was a youth, while his family tried to find their niche in the Network Marketing Industry. He idolized top earners in the Network Marketing Industry while his friends worshipped the top movie stars of that era. He was raised with the ethic that you have to work hard for anything you get in life.
Rayner Smith grew up in the community of Austin Tx and went on to Texas Christian University to pursue higher learning. He also has a degree in Business Management from the Neeley School of Business. Since then Rayner has managed several technology companies in the Austin, TX area as well as controls the companies finances.
You can enroll as a director or an affiliate. The geography of this MLM Opportunity makes it only available for Distributors in the United States. You earn commissions when customers use your iJango portal. Customers don’t have to pay anything to start browsing around your portal. Supposedly you will earn income when people search, blog, get directions, shop, read the news or engage in social networking. The detailed MLM Compensation Plan is available as a 10 page pdf on their website.
I have to say that when I did a google search on iJango, there were quite a few trusted MLM Websites talking real bad about this opportunity. Apparently it was run or originated by someone named Cameron Sharpe. Apparently Cameron Sharpe has had problems in the past from what I read with bilking people as well as legal issues. However when I visit the company website, I see no mention of his name anywhere on it.
So it makes me wonder if the concept was passed onto more competent people or is he just quietly sitting behind the scenes of this company. This was until I did a 2nd Whois Search to find out for myself. When doing a Whois Search the name Cameron Sharpe still appears on the Whois Data. I also don’t see any information anywhere on top earners so I’d recommend being careful here.

Yes Tony we haven’t heard much good about them. I’m willing to give anyone a fair chance at evening the score. If the owners want to drop by here and post their comments they are more than welcome to. We just report what we hear in the MLM Field and let you guys decide.
If Stephen, Rayner or Cameron want to post their thoughts we welcome them.

Cameron Sharpe has not been involved with the company since August 2009, and there hasn’t been anything from the BBB since then as well. Steve Smith stepped in and fixed the problems immediately after the initial launch. As someone who has met some of the top earners and the corporate team, I really wish people would stop reading very outdated news from questionable sources (the BBB is a FOR PROFIT organization that rates companies based on their ability or willingness to pay for membership).
