How to Profit and Generate MLM Leads at the Same Time

By Brian and Jeff On June 14, 2010 Under MLM Articles

Anyone who’s been in network marketing for a given amount of time knows how expensive it can be to buy or generate your own leads.

In fact, one of the reasons’ many network marketers can’t stay afloat long enough for their business’ to profit is because they can’t muster up enough cash to continually buy leads or pay to generate them themselves.

Don’t get me wrong, both of the above methods can be very effective if you have the reserves to stick with your campaign until it begins to generate positive cash-flow.

Yet, most network marketers start out on a budget (heck, if they had alot of money already they wouldn’t need to get into mlm right?) and can’t afford to test and tweak campaigns while Google or lead selling companies are eating up their cash reserves.

The solution lies in being able to turn the lead generation process into a source of profits.

Sound impossible?

Although not easy, generating leads while earning money at the same time is a fairly simple process once you understand the mechanics behind it.

How to Simultaneously Generate Leads and Profit at the Same Time

In order to generate income and leads at the same time, there are
essentially two steps involved.

The first thing you will need is a low-cost – low-overhead product you can market and sell. This can be a product you personally have created or you can choose to promote someone else’s.’

You are going to market this product as “bait” to people whom are interested in network marketing. Therefore, it would serve you well to identify a product that solves some of the problems network marketers face.

In other words, a network marketing training product would be an ideal thing for you to promote. A product that can be delivered automatically such as an ebook is ideal because it saves you on cost.

When someone buys your product, make sure you collect as much contact information as you possibly can; especially their phone number. Because once they’ve purchased your product, you can be very certain they are interested in network marketing. It could mean they’re either in the industry themselves or looking to get in.

However, because the product you sold solves a particular problem in network marketing, you can also be fairly certain they are running into problems in their business (who isn’t right)?

This becomes an opportunity for you to reach out to the person who bought your product (remember, you collected their information when they purchased your product) to see if they might be interested in joining you in business.

Of course, you would most likely want to develop a relationship first before inviting them to join your mlm. But the point is, this could potentially become a very qualified lead for you and your business.

Many network marketing information products have a system like this already built into them and are readily available for you to begin promoting as an affiliate. When someone buys the product, you earn money and you are also given access to the customers information if you want to follow up with them on the back end.

This makes for the ultimate mlm lead generation strategy.

This advice is so true. People can learn from these tips. If you can have a self funded proposal where you lead with another product this will offset your lead cost over the long haul. Excellent marketing tip!
