GT Trends Expert Review by Brian Garvin and Jeff West

By Brian and Jeff On March 29, 2009 Under MLM-Programs-G

GT Trends is a travel industry company. They are offering travel deals on their website and a business opportunity for someone who is looking for additional income or an at home job. You will find there are many reasons GT Trends offers for signing up with their program. This article is a review of the opportunity.

First of all the travel industry is growing online. This means more individuals are trying to find their travel plans on the websites over travel agents. For you this is a great thing. As long as you have an opportunity that allows for the top deals 9 times out of 10 you will find an income above what you have been making in most cases.

What happens with the GT Trends is that you have your own travel store. This travel store is found online and linked with the GT Trends travel website. You are your own travel agent as well as customer of some great deals, according to the website. You will be able to search for air, hotel, and car rentals all in one location. You can also search for cruises and other vacation packages for around the world.

The GT Trends travel opportunity works in that you get 60% in commissions for every purchase that is made on your travel center website. In other words you have to market the travel website on the internet as well as through word of mouth to gain customers. As you gain customers you will be earning commissions on every sale.

You will find that in addition to the percentage or commission you earn for having the website and having customers use it you can get other types of bonuses. As an associate travel agent you are able to get hotel rooms at a 50% to 75% discount for you and your immediate family when you travel. You can even, when available, receive free upgrades in rooms. You also get car rental discounts such as 15% to 30% discounts.

Cruises offer a $50 a day discount for most of the options on the GT Trends website. This means you can get up to a 70% discount on cruises. You can also get familiarization trips in which you check out a location that is on the website and offer a review about it. There are many benefits with GT Trends according to the website.

To become a travel agent with GT Trends you do have to sign up and pay a fee. The fee allows you access to your own business website, business cards, and other marketing tools you need to make a successful business. The idea is that they offer you a way to get additional income by having your own business through paying a start up fee.

As you continue with the company you will rise in levels of travel agent to get a few more discounts. You may also find commissions for anyone you refer to the business. For more details you may wish to speak directly with a representative of the company.

GT Trends has been in business for over 8 years and has agents in over 70 countries. Unlike many Multi Level Marketing companies you do not have to continually purchase inventory to qualify to get paid. Many network marketing companies make you purchase $100 or more of their products every month or you won’t get paid. GT Trends charges a $19.95 monthly fee which is basically a hosting fee for your websites. Also, GT Trends does not require you to market the business, if you just want to sell travel and have nothing to do with network marketing, that’s perfectly fine. As with any business opportunity whether it’s network marketing or anything else, you get back what you put into it. If you are willing to put in the effort you can make money with GT Trends.

I have many referrals, is there income opportunity for building a network of travel agents who generate travel bookings? I heard GT Trends has a great compensation plan. Also, does GT Trends have a charity / non profit travel donation program? With all the non profits that are in need of fund raising and donations, this could be a great venue for them to earn travel booking donations. Online travel is the largest online economy today, it would be great if the charities could benefit from this too. Please confirm whether there is opportunity for the non profits to participate with GT Trends.

Also, can GT Trends currently do business in any country?

The GT Trends Corporate Office is located in Chico, California, USA. GT Trends Asia Pacific Headquarters is in Pasig City, Manila, Philippines. However GT Trends also has a presence in over 70 countries. If you become a GT Trends Associate Travel Agent most of your bookings will be made online through your own Travel Store, so chances are you can be a home based travel agent regardless of where you live.

Although this sounds like a genuinely good MLM deal, unfortunately I am so burned out with my MLM failures and I don’t think I have the heart to get into it again. Sorry.

I’ve been studying GT trends for a while now and the more I research, the more I realized that GT trends is not really focusing on the travle agency but with recruiting member.this sucks.also, no member dared to put how much commission they are receiving per booked air flight and I checked the air fare-it’s too expensive.who would ever want to book a ticket with that??

I agree with travelagentwannabe. GT Trends only focuses on recruiting member. I joined GT Trends a few months ago to be an agent but their tickets’ price are higher than any other travel companies. I joined it to get benefit by buying air ticket for myself because they told me that I could get up to 90% discounts. ALL ARE NOT TRUE.

All of you who post on this site are big cry babies. You should work hard like I do and make a ton of money. I have sold millions of dollars in stocks in my company and whether we go public or not I will be rich because of my hard work. No one can stop me now with some pathetic posts!

I dissagree with Diane and travelagentwannabe. There focus is on travel. If you get in and go in your back office you can go to agent rates. I compared and they are way cheaper. Also i did a comparison with Priceline and expedia for a 10 trip to Las Vegas and Mandalay Bay. Air n Hotel n Car. GT Trends was 400 cheaper than priceline and 500+ than expedia. Is Gt Trends always gonna be cheaper? No. Either are the other travel companies. All i do is tell people just throw me in their comparisons. If i am cheaper book through me, if not go through them. Just consider me in their searches. Ron Armstrong has put together and amazing program. ANd not one other travel company compares. PERIOD!! Thanks Ron.
