EDC Gold, What kind of business is it? Well, lets start by talking about the product. EDC Gold is a business that allows you to sell software and E-books, and make a very good profit on your sales. Matter of fact, you have access to all the software, more than you can imagine, and can sell it for whatever you would like and make 100% profit. The software is nothing of great quality, and really is not worth much in retail value, but it is yours to sell any way you see fit. You can also use this software and E-books as incentives or bonuses to other websites you may have. This is the main reason people join this business.

There are many network-marketing businesses that you can find on the Internet. They all seem to claim fame and fortune for everyone that joins their venture. They promise unlimited wealth and residual income for the rest of your life. Most companies require you to recruit a never-ending supply of distributors, but EDC Gold is a bit different there.

When you make the decision to join EDC Gold, you are required to pay your membership fee to your sponsor. This fee is $997, and then you will pay a one time only fee of $49. After that there is a monthly fee of $49, or if you want, you can make a one time payment of $350. No one mentions these fees to you until after you join, so you actually are ahead of the rest now.

This is good information to have while you are looking into EDC Gold. You are investing quite a bit of money all at once, and there will be that ongoing fee. These are just some helpful facts that you would want to know, or would find out eventually. The problem that I see, making it a bit difficult to sell, is that most people do not have a thousand dollars lying around the house, much less the bank.

After you have paid your membership and fees, then you have become an active member. You are now able to check out the "Back Office". This is the best part of EDC Gold as this is where you gain your knowledge on Internet marketing, software, running an online business, etc. This is very valuable information and would be something to take advantage of.

A merchant account will be necessary if you choose to do this business, as you will be taking purchases online. These run a one-time fee of $50. You can also sign up for other forms of online payments, which are free and can be of benefit, so might as well take advantage of it. It takes about 2 days to get this processed, so you would want to get this going immediately after you make your decision.

After you have signed up, you are able to choose from several lead capture pages and auto responder messages that have been pre-configured for you. This is good because there are so many who don't know how to do this type of stuff.

How does the EDC Gold compensation plan work? There is a phrase called "aussie-2up" in the direct marketing biz. What does this mean? It means that your first two sales that you make will go to your sponsor, and then the 3rd sale will be all yours. And if you sign someone, then you get their first two sales, and so on.... it is actually not a bad plan as far as network-marketing plans go.

I think the only drawbacks are the initial investments. This is not a traditional network marketing company that I would really caution you to research.

In conclusion, you may love the idea of being able to make almost a $1000 on every sale you make, but it really is not as easy as it may appear. Internet marketing will be like any other business; it is going to take a lot of work, determination and self-discipline. It is possible, you can make money with EDC Gold, if you don't mind passing up your first commissions of almost $2000.

You will have to learn the proper methods or Internet marketing and this will take a lot of time, a bit more than you might expect.
